Question 1

How much does it cost to work with a broker?

Accepted Answer

Nothing, in most cases. We're paid by the lender once your mortgage closes, at no extra cost to you.

Question 2

Will checking rates hurt my credit score?

Accepted Answer

No. Pre-approval checks use a soft or single hard pull depending on the lender, and shopping through us counts as one inquiry, not several.

Question 3

How long does pre-approval take?

Accepted Answer

Usually within 24 hours of us receiving your documents. Most clients hear back the same day.

Question 4

Can you help if I'm self-employed?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We work with lenders who specialize in stated-income and business-for-self programs.
